Closed For a Few Months
I am pleased to announce that I have accepted a full-time, in-house editing position here in Minneapolis. This is great news for me, and I'm excited to use my editing skills in a way that results in regular paychecks!
This does mean, however, that I am closed to freelance editing submissions until at least October. I need to devote my time and attention to the new position until I find my feet.
My hope is to reach a point within the next few months where I can both do my day job effectively and work on my passion--editing fiction--after hours. I'll post to the website to let you know when I begin accepting jobs again.
In the meantime, if you're looking for a qualified, professional editor, I can suggest the EFA's list of members and job board. Always check references and get a sample edit before you sign a contract, of course, but EFA members have demonstrated their professionalism and commitment to accurate editing.
Thank you for all the support over the past few years! It has been a true pleasure to work on your books.
